A local paving firm represented Global Asphalt Products of Pennsylvania
at the National Asphalt Association's 46th annual Paving Convention and World of
Asphalt show at the Wyndham Palace Resort in Orlando FL earlier this year.
Richard and Donald DuBreuil, owners of R&D Paving, Inc. said that Global Asphalt Products asked them to be its representatives at the live paving demonstration during the show. Richard's son, Matthew, was part of the crew and he was the youngest experienced member in this event.
The four-day show featured equipment from a number of manufacturers with exhibitions of gigantic proportions as more than 25 companies showed equipment and products, giving practical demonstrations of the do's and don'ts of paving.
More than 3,000 people from throughout the United States looked on from the bleachers as R&D performed asphalt application exercises.
The event also featured the latest, state-of-the-art products in the hot-mix industry, helping members of NPA keep up with the fast-changing operating environment.
